NEWS AND EVENTS

A new Management and Service Agreement has been entered into with Orbit Housing Group Limited for the management of the Trust's properties together with the management and marketing of rented community alarms.

During 2007, the Trust embarked on a major refurbishment of the Edmund Sawyer Almshouses in Kettering to bring them up to the Government's Decent Homes Standard.

The latest Annual General Meeting was held on Friday 14 December 2007.

At the meeting, the accounts for the year to 30 September 2007 were approved showing:

  • Income amounting to £47,535 (2006 - £95,500)

  • Grants made to organisations and individuals totalling £44,527 (£54,109)

  • Fund Balances of £297,379 (£334,181)

Fox Evans were re-appointed as auditors for the year.
